Mikko Urho Appointed as New CEO of Visual Components

Visual Components is pleased to announce the appointment of Mikko Urho (M.Sc.) as CEO, taking effect immediately.

Visual Components is pleased to announce the appointment of Mikko Urho (M.Sc.) as CEO, taking effect immediately. Mikko will continue to foster Visual Components’ vision to provide the best 3D simulation software on the market and shape the future of simulation technology for others to follow. 

Mikko has an extensive career at Visual Components, dating back to the year 2000 as a summer trainee. His vast experience includes direct sales, building a world-wide partner network, and managing reseller channels. He is well known and respected by many of Visual Components’ partners and customers around the globe. In his free time, Mikko enjoys skiing, mountain biking, playing football and golfing with his family.  

Mikko will succeed Patrik Buch Lund, CEO since January 2019. Patrik will continue as a member of Visual Components’ board of directors.
