Visual Components FactoryLens Featured in Jensen Huang’s NVIDIA GTC Keynote

FactoryLens, developed by Visual Components in collaboration with NVIDIA, was featured in NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang’s keynote at GTC Berlin on 21 October 2026, showcasing the role of factory simulation and real-time rendering in AI-driven industrial workflows.
The presentation included a simulation of Swisslog’s RoWPaQ system, created in Visual Components and visualised using FactoryLens. The example demonstrates how existing factory simulations can be brought to life with realistic rendering, helping connect digital factory environments with emerging AI workflows.
Bringing factory simulation into the world of AI
FactoryLens brings NVIDIA Omniverse libraries into the Visual Components simulation platform, enabling users to visualise their existing factory simulations with real-time rendering, without having to recreate their layouts in a separate visualisation tool.
In the Swisslog RoWPaQ example, NVIDIA PhysX supports the simulation of mixed-pallet stability, while FactoryLens’ RTX rendering enables realistic images to be captured from simulated cameras for AI workflows.
As Dr. Marinus Henricus Bouwman of Swisslog explains:
“Visual Components serves as a perfect virtual world for us to simulate our Swisslog RoWPaQ system. Nvidia PhysX inside Visual Components allows us to study stability of mixed pallets and RTX Render in FactoryLens gives us the capability to capture realistic images from a simulated camera to enable our AI workflows. Embedding of these technologies has significantly reduced the sim-to-real gap”.
