Meet Valeria, Master of License Keys at Visual Components

Valeria has been an Administrative Coordinator at Visual Components (VC) since June 2018. In her free time, you can find her concentrating on sports, social activities, and self-education. She also enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with spicy foods, especially when she has guests over for dinner.

Valeria has a passion for travelling and learning about other cultures, and most recently visited Malaysia and Singapore. But if you ask Valeria’s colleagues, they would probably say her hobby is playing pool. Last year Valeria and another employee won a pool tournament organized within the company.

‘’In reality I haven’t played that much. So the reason for my victory was neither my experience nor skills.’’

How did you end up working at Visual Components?

Before joining VC I gained work experience in different customer service and office positions. In my previous job I was given a lot of responsibility and took part in interesting projects, but eventually I felt I wasn’t offered enough challenges.

I was excited to find an open position at VC through LinkedIn. I saw that the company has been in the market for 20 years and is constantly developing new products and services, and looking to the future. I loved that VC is so innovative and international, and has a young spirit though it’s a reliable place to work at.

My privilege was to be chosen to join the company, and the job is even more interesting than I expected. And, I have to mention that the people here make it even better!

Describe what you do as an Administrative Coordinator at Visual Components?

As an Administrative Coordinator I process orders for new software licenses, maintenance renewals, trainings, issue invoices and reports, and help customers with minor technical issues. I also help with accounting and organizing events.

I love that my regular day consists of both routine tasks and diversified new tasks. I’m glad to come to work every morning and see my colleagues.

What is the best part of your work, and what do you enjoy most?

I love the fact that VC is so loyal to their employees and always gives opportunities to grow and develop. I enjoy being part of the corporate culture and sharing the company’s values.

Tell us your favourite anecdote about Visual Components!

Last year the company took all the employees to Oktoberfest in Munich. Such an awesome trip was VC’s way to celebrate a successful year.

What advice would you give someone who would like to work with us?
