Today, our desktop, mobile, and virtual reality products are used by hundreds of leading manufacturers to plan, design, and optimize the next generation of factories. We have offices in Finland, Germany, and the USA, along with a global network of partners.

Job Description:

After years of steady growth we are seeking a talented, high-performing and motivated UX Designer to extend our team with this (for us) a new role. You’ll do all the typical things a software designer does: create intuitive, minimal and easy to navigate UX, adhere to HCI best practices, and make the most out of our features. In short, you are a smart, insightful, inquisitive, and persistent designer with an ability to fashion both products and systems.

Ultimately, with your responsibilities in designing our products you’ll help to create both functional and appealing products that address our clients’ needs and help us grow our customer base.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
  • Portfolio of design projects for Desktop and mobile environments
  • Experience in UX Design of robotics or products with 3D environment (e.g. CAD)
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
  • BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field

Responsibilities:

  • Illustrating design ideas using storyboards and process flows
  • Designing graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
  • Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how the software functions and looks like
  • Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
  • Analyze and continuously improve the UX in our products
  • Prepare and present sketches to internal teams and stakeholders
  • Constant advocate for Lean-Agile practices at every stage of the development process,
  • Collaborate and communicate with global development teams (especially Augsburg/Germany and Austin/USA)

Great to have:

  • History of delivering great UX work as an independent contributor or with a small team
