We are now looking for an IT Specialist to strengthen our multicultural team of professionals at our Espoo headquarters. Currently our office consist of 39 people from 12 different nationalities working in 6 different teams: administration, sales, marketing, product development, IT and simulation experts.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of experience in IT support and system administration, strong problem solving skills, and good written and verbal communication skills in English. This is a full time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Installation and maintenance of company IT equipment (laptops, workstations, servers, network devices, printers)
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of software applications run in company IT equipment
  • System and network administrator tasks
  • Providing IT related technical support to company employees

Desired experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
  • Excellent IT skills, you are experienced with most of the following technologies:
    • Windows workstation operating systems
    • Windows and Linux server operating systems
    • Virtualization, especially VMWare
    • Cloud services, Amazon AWS, Azure, Office365 / Dynamics365
    • Microsoft Team Foundation System
    • Programming and scripting (e.g. Python, Powershell, C#)
    • Cybersecurity
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written.

Visual Components is looking for a talented, high-performing and motivated PMO Expert / Project Manager.  This individual will work with a small and highly agile team of developers, simulation experts and UX designers to the continued successful delivery of our factory simulation product portfolio. 

The ideal candidate will blend software and simulation experience with cross-functional skills, technical product marketing, project management, and resource planning as well as controlling understanding. An interest in Robotics is a definite must. The employee in this position has the opportunity to fill a completely new position in the company and help to define and implement the associated tasks and work processes. 

Desired experience:

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in CS or CE, MBA or other degree with relevant experience
  • 5­­+ years of project management or relevant experience
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders in a matrix environment
  • Flexibility to quickly change course when needed
  • Excellent written and communication skills in English and ability to work in a cross-functional environment
  • PMP and/or CSM certifications are a plus
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus

 Responsibilities:

  • Constant advocate for Scrum at every stage of the development process
  • Drive day-to-day Agile processes
  • Collaborate and communicate with global development teams
  • Works with Simulation Experts, Sales, Operations, and Developers on new product launches, projects and enhancements
  • Involvement in portfolio planning and delivery of planning data as well as preparation and follow-up work of decision templates and management summaries
  • Involvement and support of R&D-overall-Budgeting
  • Drive the implementation of requirement management process
  • Controlling and monitoring of projects in co-operation with technical management regarding project milestones, budget, progress and resource load
  • Preparation and realization of project steering meetings and project audits as well as implementation of project changes
  • Continuous improvement of PMO-processes and tools aiming the transparency of current projects activities

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Application Engineer to join our growing team at our office in Munich, Germany.

What we are looking for:

You should be a graduate with a Masters or Bachelor degree, or about to graduate, in one of the following lines of education:

  • Production Engineer
  • Automation Engineer
  • Mechanical Engineer
  • Industrial Engineer
  • Computer sciences

Your skills should include:

  • Good programming skills
    • Python and/or .NET programming is a plus
  • Experience with 3D simulation and/or 3D modeling
    • experience using our products either at work or school is considered an advantage
    • rigid body kinematics skills is a plus
  • Experience with software testing and QA is a plus
  • Fluency in English
  • Excellent customer support attitude

The Visual Components Support and QA Team is responsible of providing customer support, software testing, and simulation component modeling services. As a member of the team you would be taking part in the following tasks: 

  • Pre-sales customer presentations
  • Customer and partner support
  • Software testing
  • Simulation component modelling

  • Experience with robotic frameworks (ROS, OROCOS, Rock,…) is considered an advantage
