We’re excited to introduce Visual Components Experience, a new way to experience manufacturing design and simulation. With our latest release – Visual Components 4.0.4 – you can experience simulations you’ve designed with Visual Components on mobile and in virtual reality.

Visual Components Experience (VCE) presents our users with several new capabilities and opportunities. Our mobile application makes it easy for manufacturing and sales professionals in the field to share and present production solutions and concepts from their phones or tablets. Our VR application introduces a new way for manufacturers and system integrators to approach production design, through a fully immersive and engaging experience.

Besides the exciting things that VCE allows you to do, one of the best parts is how easy it is to create and experience simulations in mobile and VR. After you’ve designed your layout with Visual Components, you record and export an animation, just as you would record a simulation video. This creates a Visual Components Animation Extension (.vcax) file, which you can then experience with our mobile and VR applications.

Design. Record. Experience. It’s that simple.

The VCE mobile application works on both iOS and Android devices, and is available for free in the App Store and Google Play. The VCE VR application is currently in Beta and only compatible with HTC Vive. If you’re interested in participating in our VR Beta Program, please contact your account manager for more details. You must be a current customer of Visual Components 4.0 products in order to be eligible.
